CASEY HUSHION (she/her) is passionate about creating great theatre with great people. Strong leadership and human kindness, it turns out, are not mutually exclusive, and she takes great pride in curating a distinctly joyful and inclusive environment in her work.
An Associate & Resident Director on Broadway for years, Casey has simultaneously established a successful [formidable?] directing career of her own. In working with Broadway's finest writers, producers, directors, choreographers & creative teams, she has had the great privilege to apply that mentorship and creative knowledge to her own work.
Her body of work includes the development of new works, dozens of projects from the classic & contemporary musical theater canon, plays, television, concerts and special events. She held the Artistic Director's position at North Carolina Theatre for ten years.
Outside of making shows, Casey is happily raising three kids with her awesome husband. She's a big fan of making to-do lists, drinking too much coffee, and laughing a lot.
